Montreal Improv is beyond excited to announce that this week is the MONTREAL IMPROV FESTIVAL at the theatre!!  Check out the schedule of shows and also the list of great workshops that are happening on Oct. 15th and 16th.  All shows are $8 for one and $12 for a double-header. Mprov - The Montreal Improv Festival (Oct. 12-16) needs volunteers!

We need door volunteers for:
WED, THURS early, THURS late, FRI early, FRI late, SAT early, SAT late. 

You can sign up for multiple shifts in one day or multiple over several days.

MPROV Workshop Highlight #1

TIME TO GET REAL - MAKE YOUR SCENES LONGER, HARDER & MULTI-ORGANIC w/ Egg Zeppelin

In this long-form scene-work intensive you will drop all your gags, tricks, sweeps and tag edits at the door. This 2-hour class will focus on the building blocks of creating organic, truthful scenes in real time, in the moment. Learn how to fast-track into believable characters, with particular attention paid to common problems such as avoiding negativity towards scene partners, towards yourself and getting rid of the urge to gag - the buzz-kill of all improv scenes. This is a chance to work with 2 experienced instructors coaches who will look objectively at the work you’re doing and offer constructive feedback and suggestions on how to bring your game to the next level.
