We saw no shows yesterday (unless you count Lawless at the Alamo Drafthouse cinema; order beer & food right to your seat? genius.) Mostly because we had to be around for our 10pm show. Call time too early to catch anything in front of it, end time too late to see anything after it. So we just went to the afterparty. SO many improvisers. And as I do more and more festivals, I start to see the same lovely people again and again. They are starting to become like family in this little global improv community. I want to pack them all up in my suitcase and bring them home.
So today is workshop day for Marc and myself. Adsit & Lutz clinic for me, physical workshop for Marc. Then hopefully a tawdry sequence of shows that fuse my laughter synapses. Festival life is SO much easier after your show is done.
BRING IT!
